Just outside Staniel Cay is Thunderball Grotto. So named because it has nothing to do with either Ian Fleming’s book or the movie based on it. As a place to swim it’s both beautiful and challenging. The current rages through here except for a few moments at slack tide.

Actually it’s not too bad for the more agile among us. Some get a leg over and then need to be rolled into the boat…
