Take a break and spend a couple of minutes with us as we walk Marlon along Gaeta’s beachfront. It’s empty now, but you see that bulldozer? It’s preparing the sand for a few thousand sun loungers. Shortly, those loungers will be filled with pasty Italians. Squinting as they emerge from lockdown they will don sunglasses and baste themselves in lotion. Waiters will run up and down the ranks serving food and drinks, collecting stimulus money in return.
Marlon doesn’t care about that. He only has eyes for a yellow ball and the tasty sand. Such a dog! So, kick off your shoes, and wade ankle deep into the cool water with us before the crowds arrive. You’ll thank yourself.

NICE!
And a very sandy pup at the end!
Marlon and his people are so happy! Thanks fr the stroll.
Marlon is one of life’s enthusiasts!
did not know beach sand needed preparing!
that was beautifully produced. very zen. much needed at the end of a year of teaching on zoom!
Thanks Anne – it was new for us, too. Turns out each restaurant owns a section that goes straight out to the shoreline that needs tending. That’s fenced off, since good fences make cornered customers, or something.
