Winter Has Come to Charleston

Locals tell us that they’ve never seen weather like this in more than 20 years. Yeah, Charleston gets a few flakes once in a while, but they never stick around. (Just like those flaky tourists on cruise ships? – ed.) The cold snap has been going for a week and the roads are still iced up. Every barfly is declaring an end to global warming and giving full credit to our President for averting the crisis. Ah, but things will heat up again soon enough and once the ice melts we will be on our way again.
